We are bringing together new and long-time REMI users, leading experts in economic and demographic analysis, for our 2017 Annual Users’ Conference on October 25-27. We’re excited to explore pressing policy questions and vital economic analysis at this year’s conference in Charleston, South Carolina – the location selected by users at last year’s conference.

The three-day event will be held in the city’s historic district at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel & Suites.

The conference offers a forum for REMI users to share ideas and address the major issues driving current policy debates. Presenters will discuss the fiscal and economic effects that policy changes could have on a range of issues – from health care and tax reform to energy and infrastructure. We will also consider the latest cutting-edge research that cuts through the political chatter.

If you would like to be considered as a guest speaker at this conference, you can apply using the form available here or email Brian Boyd at

REMI staff will also explore the latest developments in our economic modeling platform and recent research, and we will be available to meet individually with clients to answer questions and discuss concerns.

The Users’ Conference features the presentation of the George I Treyz Award for Excellence in Economic and Demographic Analysis. This award acknowledges exceptional economic analysis conducted with the REMI model. If you would like to apply for consideration for the award, please submit a paper by September 8 using the form available here.

Accommodations for the conference can be reserved directly through the hotel. A limited number of rooms have been reserved with special pricing. To reserve a room and receive the special room pricing, you can call 1-800-222-8733 and reference the group code REM or register online by clicking here.

If you would like to attend this conference, you can email Brian Boyd at, contact us by phone, or fill out the form below to register online.

We’re excited to be visiting Charleston this fall and will be forwarding regular conference updates as we have them, including information on speakers, discussion topics, group dinners and group activity.
