George I. Treyz holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University and a B.A. from Princeton. He is also Professor Emeritus in Economics at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is author of the book Regional Economic Modeling and has authored or co-authored over 25 papers published in professional journals such as the American Economic Review, The Review of Economic Statistics, and the International Regional Science Review. More recently, Dr. Treyz has brought his modeling expertise and methodology to Europe. He co-authored a report assessing the economic effect of E.U. investments for the European Commission and has overseen the implementation of regional economic policy analysis models in the U.K, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Belgium.
