Installing the Software
Welcome to a Guided Tour of REMI Policy Insight®. These eight screens walk you through a simulation of a 10% decrease in the production cost of electrical equipment in a sample region. The Guided Tour takes only a few minutes and will not load any software onto your computer.
Advance through the screens by clicking on the Next button at the bottom of each page. To go back, use the Previous button at the bottom of each page or the "Back" button on your browser tool bar.
To use the Guided Tour please download the free REMI demo model available from our site (you may also request a CD-ROM copy of the demo). The demo is suitable for running the Guided Tour simulation or for simulating other policies or events of interest to you. You can choose numerous graphs for the results of your simulations, including employment, population, and income.
To install the REMI software, simply double-click on the self-extracting file or insert the demo CD in your CD-ROM drive. In either case, the setup program will lead you through the installation.
