Email Marketing Specialist

We’re excited to introduce REMI Prosaris, our newest product, and we’re seeking an experienced Email Marketing Specialist to lead the charge in promoting and selling it directly to our audience.

Position Overview:
As the Email Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing email campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and direct sales of REMI Prosaris. You will manage the full email marketing cycle, from strategy and segmentation to testing and optimization. with a strong focus on conversion. This is a part time, paid internship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement targeted automated email marketing campaigns for REMI Prosaris, including promotional campaigns, product announcements, and nurturing sequences.
  • Build and manage segmented mailing lists to ensure highly relevant messaging.
  • Write compelling email copy and collaborate on visuals that align with REMI’s brand voice.
  • Optimize campaigns for deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and direct credit card purchases.
  • Set up, test, and monitor email automation workflows.
  • Track campaign performance using analytics tools and provide regular reports with actionable insights.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of proven experience in email marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or tech products.
  • Graphic design experience using Canva and Adobe.
  • Strong knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, etc.).
  • Experience with A/B testing, personalization, and automation workflows.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a knack for persuasive messaging.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and e-commerce integration for direct credit card sales.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing campaign performance.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Knowledge of economic development, public policy, or related fields.
  • Experience launching new products through digital marketing channels.

Research and Development Assistant

Regional Economic Models, Inc. (REMI) is looking for a part-time Research and Development Assistant to support REMI’s software development and business development divisions. This paid position is ideal for recent graduates or students interested in software engineering, AI, cloud development, public policy and economics. Candidates will be expected to work around 33 hours a week. REMI Research and Development Intern positions will be located in the REMI Amherst, MA office.

 

Responsibilities

As a Research and Development Intern, your duties will include:

  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of one or more of the following projects
      •      AI integration into REMI’s models
      •      Conversion of REMI’s AI software to a cloud native application
      •      UI Development for various projects
  • Assessing data reported by REMI software, for consistency and integrity
  • Perform quality assurance and software testing and reporting software errors
  • Assisting with other Research and Development projects as necessary

Tasks will involve assisting in model development efforts while familiarizing yourself with REMI’s impact analysis tools. Throughout the process, you will work closely with senior staff. The intern’s role involves significant multi-tasking and you will develop a comprehensive skill set.

 

Qualifications

  • Applicants with strong computer science backgrounds are preferred
  • Strong understanding of software design fundamentals
  • Familiarity with Python is required
  • Willingness to familiarize oneself with economic concepts referenced in projects you may participate in

 

Helpful (but not required) Qualifications

Applicants with any of the following skillsets would be excellent candidates for the position

  • Experience with building products around LLM’s
  • Experience building and working with REST API’s
  • Experience with Pandas, Matplotlib, and other similar python data analysis tools
  • Experience with React development (or other front-end web development skills)
  • Experience building cloud native applications (Azure experience is best, others are still great)
  • Experience with DevOps Engineering
