With a sweeping tax overhaul taking effect, state policy makers must assess how the new provisions impact their residents and businesses.
The consequences will vary significantly as households in high-cost, high-tax communities will bear the brunt of changes to the state and local tax (SALT) deduction, while low-tax regions could potentially benefit from these changes.
Please join us in Albany, New York for a luncheon presentation by REMI Managing Economic Associate Chris Judson exploring the REMI Tax-PI model’s ability to measure these impending tax code changes. REMI Tax-PI is the leading tool for estimating the total economic and revenue impacts of policy changes.
Chris Judson is a Managing Economic Associate at REMI. Mr. Judson, who joined REMI in 2011, specializes in transportation, energy, and the environment.
Since arriving at REMI, Mr. Judson has consulted for a number of clients on topics including medical research, labor force economics, and natural disasters. He provides client support in selecting inputs, conducting simulations, and analyzing results, and he creates and hosts public online seminars and training presentations on a variety of modeling topics.
