Raleigh, NC Seminar Trumponomics vs. Obamanomics The View from the States

Info

President Trump has initiated tariffs, confronted regulations, and cut taxes since being sworn in early last year. Other campaign promises, however, have yet to be fully addressed, such as the southern border wall and the repeal of the Affordable Care Act.

On Thursday, July 19th, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Raleigh, North Carolina, REMI Managing Economic Associate Chris Judson and Economic Associate Cameron Luther will explore policy differences resulting from the change in administration and the implications for states in a one-day seminar titled, “Trumponomics vs. Obamanomics: The View from the States.”

This event covers a variety of state and federal policy questions that dominate debate in our current political environment. Mr. Judson and Mr. Luther will evaluate the economic effects of transportation innovation, the impacts of Amazon’s new headquarters, and much more with the help of dynamic economic modeling.

The discussion will include a description of the latest developments in REMI’s modeling software and its ability to analyze changes in policy on the state and national levels.
