Info

REMI is offering a free seminar in Tallahassee, Florida that is scheduled to be held on Friday, March 22nd from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. During this event, economic associates Jamie Neville and Cameron Luther will present “Driving Sustainable Growth: Resiliency, Transportation, and the Green New Deal,” an examination of a variety of national and state-level policies that have the ability to affect industries and economies.
This event will assess federal policies like the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act and how they can adjust state’s approaches to economic growth and revenue collection. It will also delve into the role of infrastructure in sustaining development projects as opposed to deteriorating a region’s economic capacity.
Economic analysis can implement a complex framework for evaluating pending policies and scenarios simulated through models can be used to explore new policy development approaches.
We will discuss the future of resiliency and the transportation industry during this seminar, in addition to analyzing select economic development approaches, the Green New Deal’s economic and fiscal impacts, and competing tax reform solutions.
We’re offering this event free of charge; however, we do ask that you register in advance. If you would like to attend this event, please email Brian Boyd at brian.boyd@wp.remi.com, contact us by phone at (413) 549-1169, or fill out the registration page for this event.
