Midterm elections often shake up politics and inspire a shift in policy-making, especially in state government. This November, Georgia and 38 other states or territories will hold gubernatorial elections, including 18 with open seats.
REMI cordially invite you to a luncheon presentation titled “Decision 2018 – Policy and the Economy” in Atlanta, Georgia on Tuesday, October 30th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Georgia is grappling with a range of issues – such as health care, education, and rural employment – and the outcome of its gubernatorial election will help shape the future direction.
For this presentation, REMI Economic Associate Jamie Neville will discuss the issues in the upcoming election and the economic policy implications. She will explore the role of dynamic economic modeling in evaluating alternative solutions and providing objective answers in contentious times.
We’re offering this event free of charge; however, we do ask that you register in advance. If you would like to attend this event, please email Brian Boyd at brian.boyd@remi.com, contact us by phone at (413) 549-1169, or fill out the registration page for this event.
