Raleigh, NC Luncheon Decision 2018 Policy and the Economy

Info

Midterm elections often shake up politics and inspire a shift in policy-making. With Congressional control and scores of gubernatorial and legislative offices decided on election day, the national results could have significant impacts on states’ economies.

REMI cordially invites you to a luncheon presentation titled “Decision 2018 – Policy and the Economy” in Raleigh, North Carolina on Tuesday, November 13th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Last week’s results produced dramatic changes across the country, both on Capitol Hill and in a number of state legislatures. North Carolina’s economy could be substantially affected by the next Congress weighing in on infrastructure, fiscal policy, health care, and other current issues that resonate nationwide.

For this presentation, REMI Senior Economist Peter Evangelakis, Ph.D. and Economic Associate Elliot Jerry will discuss the issues that surrounded the midterm election and the economic policy implications. They will explore the role of dynamic economic modeling in evaluating alternative solutions and providing objective answers in contentious times.

We’re offering this event free of charge; however, we do ask that you register in advance. If you would like to attend this event, please email Brian Boyd at Brian.Boyd@wp.remi.com, contact us by phone at (413)549-1169, or fill out the registration page for this event.
